Armed with a degree in graphic design and an eagerness to liberate his creativity beyond the confines of 'page layout'. Stuart ventured into commission based illustrating in 2001. His graphic design background is still heavily present in his composition, vivid use of flat colour and delicate key-line illustration style. Despite his love of his home city London, Stuart has lived in Melbourne Australia for the previous 6 years where he continues to work as an illustrator. The illustration process: Most projects are penciled first for client amendments/approval. They are then fleshed out into final artwork using vector based 'Adobe illustrator CS5'. He is also excited to soon develop animation to bring his illustrations to life.
