Yime has a degree in Art from the Complutense University of Madrid, and an MA in Illustration and Graphic Design from the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
“Normally, I sketch some compositions, choose one and draw it properly on paper. Then I scan it and play with some different colour combinations. After that, I colour the image on my computer and add some final textures and details,” explains Yime.
According to Yime, he has a social style. In it he projects thoughts and ideas about reality and about how people interact. His colour make an impact, and funny or cheeky characters are common in his work, though he also creates more formal images when required.
