Liebe heilt

Débora collaborated with Art for Pets, a free open-air exhibition in São Paulo that brings together artist-customised dog and cat sculptures to inspire empathy and action for animal welfare.
Her piece,
Amor Cura (Love Heals), draws on the Japanese art of Kintsugi and antique porcelain, revealing golden cracks that honour repair rather than conceal it, turning scars into storytelling details. Working in blue hues and delicate linework reminiscent of historic ceramics, Débora built a poetic world of graceful cats inspired by her own rescues, set among begonias, bromeliads, and heliconias that weave Brazilian nature into the narrative.
The sculpture was on display in front of the Ipiranga Museum and is now being auctioned, with all proceeds supporting rescue, neutering, and adoption initiatives, perfectly aligning art, place, and purpose.
