Tang Wei

Approach

Starting with a pencil drawing, Tang Wei will add acrylic paint or watercolour. Collage is a favourite technique of hers and she may add cutout pictures to her work, as well as special papers, lace, felt and even bits of clay. It’s very much a mixed media process.

Style

Tang Wei’s mixed media approach is combined with a willingness to experiment in terms of composition and layout. This gives many of her pieces a touch of the unexpected. Her style is personal, and she is always willing to adapt her style to create imagery that best suits the brief.
