Question: Do you have any formal design training? Thies: Yes, I got my diploma in Hannover at the School for visual communication. Question: Where do you live? Thies: In Hannover, nice old building with a garden. Question: Can you describe your studio for me? Thies: I share an office with 10 other creatives in a backyard loft. Question: What technique do you use? Thies: I draw by hand and then I finish and color everything digitally. Question: Tell us about a favorite project you have recently completed. Thies: A movie poster. Question: Who are your illustration heroes? Thies: Lots! Definitely the artists from the "Pictoplasma" scene. Question: Do you keep a sketchbook? Thies: Yes, but it´s a secret.
