Illustrators specializing in food who work photo-realistically produce idealized representations of food that are perfectly lit, appetizing and more appealing than the original product. The advantage is that they can use their personal image sources to realistically render fruits, vegetables, blossoms and leaves that are not readily available in any seasonally.
