Our Dark Unravelling

Created for the upcoming release of Margot McGovern's novel, Carolina's cover draws on the novel’s central tension between grief, control, and the suggestion of something returning from beyond. Following the death of Jude Sinclair and the unsettling events that ripple through his peers, the story hinges on uncertainty, whether what’s unfolding is real, imagined, or orchestrated. Carolina responds with a composition that holds that ambiguity in place, using restraint and atmosphere to build quiet unease. Read more on the book here.
