Commissioned by Agência Ole Interactive for TV Globo, Ing was invited to reinterpret the broadcaster’s instantly recognisable Plim Plim as a special edition marking São Paulo’s 472nd anniversary.
Her response centres on the city’s south side, presenting a layered portrait where metro lines, music and neighbourhood life overlap. Rather than flattening the area into a single symbol, Ing’s illustrations lean into plurality, reflecting the cultural density and creative energy that define the region.
The result translates a fleeting sonic cue into a visual rhythm, giving the familiar vignette a renewed sense of place and contemporary weight. WATCH the animation on Ing's folio. LISTEN to Ing talk about the project.
